TSCC Test and Tune is a timed autocross competition organized by Tidewater Sports Car Club at NCCAR in Garysburg, NC. It is scheduled for August 29, 2026.

Schedule

• Drivers will be split into three heats with both a morning and afternoon session.
• Grid will be a rolling grid that drivers may hop in or out of as they wish to get as many runs as possible.
• Schedule.
• 7:30 Gates Open.
• 7:30 – 8:45 Registration.
• 7:30 – 9:00 Tech.
• 8:25 / 8:55 Novice Meeting/Course Walk at Start Line (Mandatory for all Novice Registered Drivers To Attend At Least One Meeting; Preferably Both!).
• 9:30 MANDATORY Driver's Meeting at the TSCC Timing and Scoring Bus.
• 10:00 First Car Off.
• 10:00 – 10:45 Heat 1 Drives.

Requirements

• Dont have a membership yet?
• 7:30 – 9:00 Tech.
• Car Preparation/Tech Inspection.
• Cars must be fully prepared before proceeding to tech.
• Inspect your tires: ensure no cords are showing, do not use tire shine.
• DOT treaded street tires must have at least 2/32” remaining tread depth.
• This check will be done in accordance with the Virginia state inspection procedure. (updated 9/5/2023).
• Check your brakes for pedal pressure and proper brake fluid levels.
• Numbers: Number (at least 8” tall) and class letters (at least 4” tall) must be displayed on both sides of the car.
• If you are unsure of your classing, please let us know before proceeding to Tech and we can help you.
• Trunk: Remove spare tire, tools, jack, loose/unsecured items.
• Helmets: Helmets must meet one of the following standards:.

• 12:00 – 12:45 Heat 3 Drives.

• 3:00 – 3:45 Heat 3 Drives.
• The event will take place RAIN OR SHINE.
• In the event of severe weather, a decision will be made at the driver’s meeting to determine whether or not we will be running.
• You will be notified by email if the race event is canceled before its scheduled date.
