Event Overview

Reno SCCA Track Day / Time Attack 3 & 4 is a track-day and timed Time Attack program presented by SCCA – Reno Region at Thunderhill Raceway Park. The scheduled date is 2026-09-12 through 2026-09-13.

Schedule and Format

• Saturday Sept 12 & Sunday Sept 13 at Thunderhill Raceway Park, located seven miles west of Willows, CA at 5250 Hwy 162, Willows CA 95988.

• This Two Day Combined Track Day & Time Attack will use two variations of the West Course. Saturday will feature the 7-10 bypass and on Sunday the full 2 mile course will be used.
• All groups get four 20 minute sessions each day.
• Overnight camping is available no-charge for all entrants. The paddock must be cleared by 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening following the event.
• Lunch is included both days for all enteries and available for a fee of $15 each day for guests.
• A Saturday evening social will be available for all attendees.
• Registration and Tech will be available Friday evening beginning at 6:00 pm.
• Passing rules may vary by session at the discretion of the Chief Driver Coach.

• Sound Levels: 103.9dbA sound limit is in effect at all Thunderhill events between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sound levels before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm must not exceed 95 dbA. No race engines may be started at Thunderhill before 7:30 a.m. nor operate after 6:00 p.m.

Entry Fees and Registration

• Lunch is included both days for all enteries and available for a fee of $15 each day for guests.
• Entry Fees: Single day Track Day (TD) / Time Attack (TA) $295, Second day add $120. Dual Entry $110 (same car & driver in Time Attack groups (TA1 & TA 2).
• Weekend Membership $20.
• Transponder Rental $30.
• $25 Introductory Discount – 1st Time Novice Entry.
• Have a current Weekend or Full Membership of the SCCA.

• Track Day Driver Requirements: Drivers who wish to compete in an SCCA Track Event must meet the below requirements.
• Have a current Weekend or Full Membership of the SCCA.
• Have a valid government-issued driver’s license.
• A Participation Log is required and is available at registration for no-charge. TT Novice Permit or Competition License holders, or alternate license holders are not required to have a Participation Log.
• Must meet Safety Level 1 Standards, and when necessary, the SCCA rules required for special construction (GT, Sports Racers, Formula Cars, Specials etc.).
• Point by is required in turns but may be altered by the Competition Director and communicated at the Driver’s Meeting.
• Driver Requirements: All Drivers must comply with these SCCA Time Trials Driver Eligibility Rules: http://timetrials.scca.com/pages/driver-eligibility.
• Be approved for Reno Track Event Experience Group (EG) or higher.
• Hold a valid government-issued driver’s license.
• Hold a SCCA Time Trials Competition, SCCA Road Race Novice or Full Competition license.
