Event Overview

NASA at Thunderhill Raceway Park is an endurance racing event presented by NASA – California – Northern Region at Thunderhill Raceway Park. The scheduled date is 2026-09-19.

• Practice and qualifying take place Friday, September 18.
• The 12-hour race runs Saturday, September 19 from 7:30 AM–7:30 PM.

Entry Fees and Registration

• The $2,195 team entry covers any number of drivers and crew.

Driver and Vehicle Requirements

• The event uses five lap-time-bracketed TREC classes and enforces strict no-contact rules.
• A NASA competition license is not required.
• Five-minute timed fuel stops apply except in the Unlimited class.
• Any tires, including slicks, are permitted; no more than two tires may be changed per stop outside the Unlimited class.
