Event Overview

3 Mile Open Test – NASA 12 Hour is a closed-course open-track program presented by Thunderhill Raceway Park at Thunderhill Raceway Park. The scheduled date is 2026-09-18.

Schedule and Format

• Open testing on Thunderhill Raceway Park’s 3-mile East course. Race prepared cars only. No passengers are allowed during TRP Open Test events. Driver check-in will take place at the GiftShop starting at 7:00 am.
• Driver check-in will take place at the TRP Gift Shop starting at 7:00am Friday.
• 8:30AM MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING.
• 9AM – OPEN TRACK.
• 12PM-1PM – LUNCH.
• 1PM – OPEN TRACK.
• 5PM – TRACK COLD.

Entry Fees and Registration

• Entry fee: $499 per car; unlimited drivers. Drivers must sign testing form in the Gift Shop to acquire the wristband which allows you on track.
• Half Day Fee: $349; unlimited drivers.

Driver and Vehicle Requirements
