2026 Autocross Shootout  August 29th is a timed autocross competition organized by SCCA – Kansas City Region – Solo at MCC – Blue River CDL Inst Range in Independence, MO. It is scheduled for August 29, 2026.

Schedule

• **REGISTRATION CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH*.
• Competitors will complete a morning session like a normal autocross.
• Saturday SOLO EVENT DAY SCHEDULE:.
• 7:00 AM – GATES OPEN, SETUP WORKERS ARRIVE.
• 7:30 AM – EVERYONE ELSE ARRIVE ON SITE.
• 7:30 – 9:00 AM – TECH & ATTENDEE CHECK IN OPEN.
• 9:00 AM – TECH & ATTENDEE CHECK IN CLOSES.
• 9:30 AM – DRIVER'S MEETING.
• 9:45 – FIRST CAR OFF.
• Payment is required at time of registration.

• If your entry is properly canceled on 24 hours before the event, you will be given event credit for future use.

Requirements

• If car changes are to be made, they must be done within the allotted time.
• 7:30 – 9:00 AM – TECH & ATTENDEE CHECK IN OPEN.
• 9:00 AM – TECH & ATTENDEE CHECK IN CLOSES.

• SCCA Membership is Required.
• You must show your SCCA Membership card at registration/sign-in.

• You will complete this through the website and retain a copy on the minor driver at all times during events.

Event Details

• 2026 Autocross Shootout August 29th.
• *Limited Entry (68 entrants).
• *Annual SCCA members only.
• *No Novice (any events as novice in 2026 or less than 13 events).
• Event is rain or shine at the MCC Precision Driving Center located just past the Independence Animal Services at.
• Highway 78 and Powell Rd. (scroll down for map to site).
• *It is your responsibility to read the rules for this special event.
• If you fail to do so and are not prepared for the event style, you will not be given grace.
• 2026 Autocross Shootout PAX based event.
• ALL TIMES WILL BE PAX BASED SO BE SURE TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR CORRECT CLASS.
• 2 heats will be ran with 3 runs.
• The top half of morning runs will be placed into an elimination style competition and the bottom half will be eliminated.
• 2 heats (or a single if workers permit) will be ran with 2 runs, the top half of the field will advance from there.
• The top half of times will determine a seed for bracketing.
• The lowest time will be bracketed with the top time.
• Competitors at this point will now engage in a head to head battle for each bracket.
• Each competitor will have 1 chance to make their run.
• This bracket will proceed until 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions are decided.
