Event Overview

New Pavement 9/20 Thunderhill East CCW Bypass is a high-performance driver education and open-lapping event presented by Turn8 TrackDays at Thunderhill Raceway Park. The scheduled date is 2026-09-20.

Schedule and Format

• The event runs September 20 from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM on Thunderhill East’s freshly repaved three-mile course.
• Beginner drivers receive four structured sessions; intermediate and advanced drivers receive three sessions plus an open-pit period.
• Regular sessions are approximately 20 minutes, and the open-pit period is expected to run 30–60 minutes.
• Time Attack competitors receive one additional timed session.

Entry Fees and Registration

• Beginner entry is $285 plus the organizer’s ticket fee.
• Intermediate and advanced entry is $259 plus the organizer’s ticket fee.
• The optional Time Attack Round 3 add-on is $45 and requires a separate track-day entry.
• Timing-transponder rental is $25 and helmet rental is $50, subject to availability.

Driver and Vehicle Requirements

• Beginner, intermediate and advanced run groups are assigned by documented track experience and pace.
• Time Attack entrants must also have the required windshield banner and door-number cards.
• Helmets must be SA2015 or newer.
• A functional tow hook is required.
• Vehicles must pass the organizer’s technical and safety requirements before entering the track.
