Event Overview

North By Northwest – A Navigational Road Rally is a competitive navigational road rally presented by SCCA – Santa Monica Sports Car Club at Starbucks in Moorpark. The scheduled date is 2026-09-12.

Schedule and Format

• Join us on Saturday, September 12th in Moorpark for the SCCA/SCRRC Road Rally "North by Northwest". Entry is limited to 35 cars.
• Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026. Event runs rain or shine.
• Competitors can check-in and receive their Route Instructions starting at 8:30 a.m.
• Competitor meeting at 9:30 a.m.
• First car out at 10:01 a.m.

Entry Fees and Registration

• PRICE:
• The entry fee is $35 per car. The driver or navigator must be an SCCA member, however weekend memberships can be purchased for $20 which can be credited towards a full membership.
• One person per vehicle must be an SCCA member – you can purchase a weekend membership as part of registration if you are not a full member.

Driver and Vehicle Requirements

• Each vehicle MUST have at least two participants, a driver and a navigator. Passengers are allowed, but no more than can be safely carried in the vehicle and they must sign the event waiver.
• Event requirements.

• Everyone in the vehicle must sign a waiver (including passengers)
• If anyone in the car is a minor, they are required IN ADVANCE to complete the online minor waiver, and their parents/guardians are required to complete the parental consent forms. Go to https://my.scca.com/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?WebCode=CSCCertificationList&pager=10 to complete these requirements.
• Drivers must have a current driver’s license.
